CASSINI Space Camp 2025 – the space adventure begins in Poland!
✨What it is about?
The Stalowa Wola CASSINI Space Camp will take place from 22 to 29 August 2025 and will be one of the most diverse programmes you could imagine! The camp is open to students aged 14–18 attending schools located within the European Union. It includes full board, accommodation, and insurance, and all activities will be delivered in Polish and English if needed, depending on the participants. Throughout the camp, participants will follow a rich and engaging programme, including inspiring workshops and meetings held in four different locations.
This is no ordinary camp. It’s a week full of passion, learning, and unforgettable adventure – and it could be the beginning of a great career in the space sector! The programme includes fascinating encounters, innovative and practical activities, and workshops that are truly out of this world. The sky and the stars will be at your fingertips – literally!
Our space ambitions know no limits – there will be rockets, stratospheric balloons, telescopes, projects using satellite data, and a whole range of inspiring ideas that really can change the world.
The Stalowa Wola Regional Development Agency proves that space dreams can take off from anywhere. CASSINI Space Camp is a place that can launch young people straight into the orbit of a space-tech career. And it all starts right here – in Stalowa Wola.
Stalowa Wola Regional Development Agency Ltd. is implementing this initiative with a group of respected partners: Ignacy Łukasiewicz Rzeszów University of Technology, Space Academy, SpaceShip Foundation, Innspace Association and Polish Space Professionals Association.
The cosmic route of Stalowa Wola CASSINI Space Camp 2025
✨Rzeszów – this is where we launch into science!
On the first day, we will visit the Ignacy Łukasiewicz Rzeszów University of Technology, where we’ll explore modern laboratories working on technologies for the space industry. This is where we’ll see how materials are created that eventually end up… in orbit!
✨Bezmiechowa – the stars are closer than you think
At the Observatory Centre of the Polish Space Agency in Bezmiechowa, we’ll spend the next four days diving deep into the world of space. What have we planned?
- From idea to launch – rocket-building workshops;
- Observing the Sun, and after dark – observing the sky and stars through telescopes;
- Creating stratospheric balloons that will actually fly!
- Discussions about the history of rockets, space missions, and space exploration;
- Workshops on using satellite data to solve real-world problems;
- Advice on how to build a space-tech career.
✨Stalowa Wola – the future starts here
After incredible observations, we return to the heart of the project – Stalowa Wola – where we will continue our creative work through:
- Radio communication workshops;
- Workshops on how to properly define problems and design effective solutions;
- Aerial missions – drone workshops;
- Creative intuitive painting workshops inspired by… space! The outcome: your very own painting exhibition
- The launch of a stratospheric balloon and the Final Event with an awards ceremony
✨Kraków – the grand finale among robots
To finish off the camp, we will head to Kraków for the European Rover Challenge – the largest Mars rover competition in Europe! It will be the perfect conclusion to the camp – with a powerful dose of inspiration and cutting-edge technology.
