Demo Day Batch 6

CASSINI Business Accelerator | June 29, 2026
DG DEFIS and EUSPA

The Demo Day of our sixth cohort is officially in the books and we are proud of the companies’ achievements in the past 6 months. This time, the startups and the CASSINI Business Accelerator team reconvened at the EBAN Congress in Vilnius. The companies’ graduation day was all about showcasing their solutions to a broad audience consisting of investors, jury members and ecosystem leaders.

The event provided a perfect mix of industry highlights, panel discussions and countless networking opportunities to its participants. More than 500 attendees were present and over 40 countries were represented at the event.

Batch 6 Startups in the Spotlight

Startups from Batch 6 were invited to the stage to pitch their solutions, followed by a Q&A session with the jury members. Not only did the teams highlight their technologies but also their market readiness and ability to foster change in the EU space sector and beyond. It was interesting to see how pitching and storytelling techniques gained from the accelerator were also reflected in their presentations.

The event once more emphasised the highly innovative ecosystem of European space founders driving change across AI and autonomous systems, earth observation and satellite data analytics, as well as space infrastructure and communication technologies.

Insights from the EBAN Congress

The EBAN Congress, one of Europe’s flagship events for angel investing, brought together a diverse community of investors, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and ecosystem leaders to exchange insights on the evolving landscape of innovation, entrepreneurship, and startup financing.

Throughout the two days, high-level discussions focused on topics such as access to capital, deep-tech investment, innovation-driven growth, sustainability, and, most importantly, on Europe’s resilience and its competitiveness in emerging technologies. Participants explored how startups can navigate evolving market conditions, attract investment, and scale internationally, while investors shared perspectives on identifying and supporting the next generation of high-potential ventures.

It also featured a roundtable with a select group of CASSINI startups, hosted by the EU Commissioner for Defence and Space, Andrius Kubilius. Key conversations centered on how European space companies can scale effectively, reach new markets and customers, and convert cutting-edge innovation into tangible business capabilities and commercial success.

On top of this, the congress offered extensive networking opportunities and matchmaking sessions designed to foster connections between founders, investors, corporates, and innovation support organisations. These interactions created valuable opportunities for collaboration and knowledge exchange across sectors and geographies.

Looking Ahead

As Batch 6 comes to a close, we are excited to see how these ambitious startups build on the momentum gained throughout the accelerator. Equipped with stronger business foundations, refined go-to-market strategies, and valuable connections across the European innovation ecosystem, the companies are now well-positioned to scale their solutions and accelerate their impact. While Demo Day marks the end of this chapter, it also signals the beginning of their next growth phase. We look forward to following their continued success as they transform innovative space technologies into real-world applications that strengthen Europe’s competitiveness and drive progress across space and adjacent industries.
