To cap off their CASSINI Business Accelerator journey, our Batch 5 companies traveled to the Space Tech Expo in Bremen for their Demo Day. The event not only brought together leading space technology professionals but also allowed the fifth batch to connect with peers from other cohorts and explore potential collaboration opportunities.
Showcasing Batch 5 Startups
The companies took the stage to present their innovations in dynamic 3-minute pitches. Each team introduced their solutions to the audience, reflecting the capabilities they gained from the programme’s mentoring sessions and webinars, which covered areas like value proposition, new markets entry and growth management.
Insights from the Space Tech Expo
As the largest space event in Europe, the Space Tech Expo in Bremen gathered space engineers and technologies to exhibit the latest advancements in the industry.
High-level discussions centred on Europe’s strategic autonomy in space, supply chain resilience, security and defence, and the role of AI in future missions. Attendees also explored sustainability themes such as debris mitigation and green propulsion, as well as regulatory issues like licensing and space legislation.
Additionally, the 2025 edition introduced workshops, offering hands-on masterclasses on critical industry topics - from venture capital deal-making and cybersecurity to creative storytelling and legislation. The event also featured networking opportunities, a free B2B matchmaking platform for partnerships, and insights from over 150 speakers across more than 950 exhibiting companies, highlighting sectors like small satellites, satellite communications, Earth observation, and launcher technologies.
Looking Ahead
This Demo Day celebrated the graduation of the Batch 5 startups after their six-months acceleration journey. The event not only highlighted their achievements but also underscored their readiness to play a meaningful role in the growing space economy.
As this cohort completes its programme, we are excited about the further growth of these teams and the value they will add to the industry.
