20 European space-tech companies have successfully concluded Batch 4 of the CASSINI Business Accelerator, which took place from 1 November 2024 to 30 April 2025. Below, we highlight their progress and key achievements throughout the six-month acceleration journey.
Driving Sales Growth
Over the course of the programme, Batch 4 companies collectively generated 2,174 sales leads. Out of these, 948 turned into qualified prospects which then progressed into 600 concrete business opportunities, ultimately resulting in 182 closed deals. These figures demonstrate the CASSINI Business Accelerator’s effectiveness in expanding participants’ sales pipelines and driving commercial outcomes.
Besides, the sales deals generated a cumulative value of €11.5 million, averaging €578,000 per company. Of this, €2.6 million came from new customer sales, with an average of €142,000 per company. These figures underscore the programme’s role in driving revenue growth while also expanding the client base - both critical for long-term business sustainability.
Securing Funding
Beyond direct sales, the CASSINI Business Accelerator has played a critical role in shaping the funding landscape for the participants, further strengthening its impact on business development. The programme has actively helped companies secure private funding with over €21 million raised in equity-based funding over the past six months. Additionally, the companies secured another €2 million from other private funding sources, such as business loans. On the public funding side, Batch 4 collectively raised around €12 million.
Fostering Employment & Societal Impact
In addition to growth in sales and capital, the companies also expanded their teams. Over the past six months, they created a total of 86 new full-time equivalent (FTE) positions - representing a 26% increase. The cohort now employs 326 FTEs in total, with 22% of the workforce identifying as female, highlighting the CASSINI Business Accelerator’s contribution to both economic impact and societal return on investment.
Looking Ahead
The above results demonstrate the programme’s impact on expanding participants’ sales pipelines and driving commercial outcomes. Based on the companies’ feedback, the quality of both lead coach and expert mentor sessions has been particularly strong, underscoring the role of CASSINI Business Accelerator in delivering high-quality guidance and mentorship.
Looking ahead, we are excited to see how the programme participants remain committed to building on these achievements and pursuing future business opportunities independently. Way to go, Batch 4!
