As the waves of November rolled in, Batch 2 of the CASSINI Business Accelerator programme convened in the picturesque coastal town of Peniche, Portugal, for an immersive and unforgettable retreat, Batch Meetup—an event that encapsulates a blend of learning, networking, and collaborative spirit.
Starting with the 2023 Web Summit held in Lisbon, the batch delved into the heart of tech innovation, rubbing shoulders with industry leaders, pitching their ideas, and forging connections that will help propel their startups to new heights.
Following the vibrant and energising days at Web Summit, the Batch Meetup in Peniche offered an intimate and exclusive space for Batch 2 participants to deepen connections between them. They did so byengaging with the accelerator partners and lead coaches, and reflecting on the collective journey so far. Against the backdrop of Peniche's scenic beauty, invaluable discussions, workshops, and moments of camaraderie unfolded, fostering a sense of unity and shared purpose among the cohort. With activities ranging from keynote speeches and conversations on fundraising, venture capitalism, leadership, and emotional intelligence, to team-building scavenger hunts across the town, the participants were kept busy!
This retreat was a catalyst for growth and stands as a testament to the programme's commitment to nurturing and empowering our batch startups . Looking back, the retreat participants left Peniche not just with newfound knowledge but also with a network of allies, a clearer vision for their ventures, and memories of a truly impactful experience. Armed with new insights and a strengthened network, these startups are poised to chart a path towards success and innovation in the space-tech domain.
